This year Eid event in Dunstable Downs, Art of Islamic Pattern are holding a workshop making Islamic Ceramic Tiles, participants will get to pick geometric or arabesque patterns and then impress clay into the plaster molds to create their own pieces.

FREE V&A Museum Drop in workshop

The John Madejski Garden - 8th August 2010

One day children’s workshop during the Arab World Festival at the V&A. A large timber geodesic dome was built in the courtyard and covered in cotton. Visitors where invited to decorate diamond shaped coloured paper exploring Islamic arts like geometry, Arabesque and contemporary themes from Arabia. Participant's then entered the dome to decorate the interior with designs that they had prepared.
